Happy Birthday Ella!

Ella celebrated her 3rd birthday on January 31. She insisted on having her birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's just like last year. We invited her friends from school as well as a few neighborhood friends, and of course our families. It was unbelievably crowed and chaotic, but the kids didn't seem to mind...I guess that's what you get when you plan a Saturday birthday in January! Ella was in hog heaven with all the games and tickets she could earn. She enjoyed her pizza and Hello Kitty cake and just having her sweet friends there to help celebrate. Ella did make one thing clear though...she did NOT want Chuck E Cheese to come see her. She is still in that phase of being freaked out by people dressed up in costumes. She enjoys him from far away, but not close up. The birthday girl got her wish! After the party, we went home to open her gifts. It was so much fun watching her excitement as the opened each one. I still can't believe my sweet baby is 3 years old. She is such a blessing to our family. It's amazing how different she is from her big sister Hayley. I love that Ella is so determined and rarely gives up. She has a more intense personality and expresses her emotions very strongly whether she is happy or mad! Ella learns things quickly and is very aware of her surroundings. I guess she is always trying to keep up with her big sister. Her two favorite things to do are dressing up and playing with her baby dolls. I just love her big strong hugs, her adorable laugh, her independence, and most of all her love for life! Happy Birthday Ella!
