Well, it's official...My family and I were certainly beach bums this summer! We were fortunate to spend almost three weeks at the beach with family this summer. In June, we went to Hilton Head Island with my parents and stayed in Palmetto Dunes. Scott was even able to join us for a few days too. The kids and I love HHI! It's one of my favorite beaches to visit because the area is so beautiful, the beaches are wide, and there is so much to do! The kids really enjoyed the rental bikes and all the trails once again this year, as well as Harbour Town. There were many tide pools on the beach each day for the girls to play in. We spend most days enjoying the beach and the pool.

In July, we were able to visit Ocean Isle Beach twice with my family. We have enjoyed staying at my family's beach house that they bought this past winter. The girls loved walking on the pier, playing putt-putt, and lots of beach and pool time with the cousins.
