The girls and I began our summer with a bang! Adventure Week at our church was amazing! Adventure Week is Brookwood's version of a vacation bible school at a traditional church. It has been described as a "vacation bible school on steroids," which I found out to be exactly true. I was busy all week leading the preschool children in their craft project each day. I rotated to the rooms and was able to work with a variety of ages. Hayley and Ella enjoyed the theme this year, Buccaneer Bay (a pirate theme). This was their first experience at Adventure Week. They really had a great week singing, learning about God's Word, participating in the activities, and meeting new friends. By the end of the week, we were all exhausted! We can't wait to do it again next year!
