As you can see, our little Belle is getting much bigger. She is 4 months old and weighs around 40 lbs already! The vet thinks she will weigh between 80 to 85 lbs when she is full grown. She has really become part of our family and loves to hang out with the girls. Belle has recently completed a puppy training class, and we are anxiously waiting to start the "beginner" training class when she is 6 months old. We are learning that she is very smart and easy to train, but she is also full of energy and can be very bold. We enjoy her the most when she is worn out! :) She likes to dig and chew everything which can be frustrating at times...typical lab puppy! Belle really enjoys playing with kids in the neighborhood and running around with other dogs on our street. We still miss our first dog, Jake, so much. It makes me laugh when Ella keeps reminding me that "Jake died, Mommy" almost every week, just in case I forgot. Getting Belle has really helped us move on and keeps us very busy as we train and enjoy a new puppy!

"Belle, Belle"

Belle is so cute!!! Can't wait to meet her over Thanksgiving.
You gotta love kids and what they say. They have their own way of coping with things. AG still talks about Charleston. The dog we had last year for 5 months. She keeps asking us when we will see her again. We gave her away after she and Shug fought too many times. Ag reminds us of that too.
