In August, Hayley auditioned for the Greer Children's Theatre's production of "Annie." After going through the audition process including callbacks which involved dancing, singing, and reading scripts, she got the part of "Molly." She was so excited! The cast rehearsed for three months which included some long, late nights. This proved to be a bit challenging after long school days and two days of dance each week. Hayley was able to balance it all and continued to work hard. She never complained about all the rehearsals, even after going to bed after 11:00 pm some nights and then getting up for school the next morning at 6:30 am. We were so proud of her attitude and hard work. Mid November, the production ran for two weekends which included six shows. Hayley enjoyed every single show. It was so exciting to see her nail the role of "Molly" and show how comfortable she was on stage. Many friends and family came to the shows to support her. Annie was such a great experience for Hayley and worth all those late nights and gas money we spent driving to Greer and back. She was able to see a cast of over 70 people work together to create an amazing show, while meeting new friends along the way.
