Merry Christmas 2010

What a magical Christmas my family had this year!  We had some great visits with our grandparents/great grandparents a few days leading up to Christmas.  It is always special to spend time with them during the holidays.  I love that my girls are getting to know their great grandparents on both sides and can create memories with them! We spent Christmas Day at home and our parents were able to stop by during the day.  We enjoyed opening presents, eating goodies, and just spending time together.  Santa surprised the girls with ipods, American Girl dolls, games, books, and other gifts.  Scott and I surprised the girls with a big gift from us this year.  They completed a scavenger hunt with six clues.  Each clue revealed a letter.  After all six letters were found, they had to unscramble the letters to discover a place we are going for a Spring Break trip...DISNEY!  After all the gifts were opened, Scott told me that there was one more gift for me.  I opened a large box to find one letter and more boxes, all inside one another.  Each one with a letter.  After seeing several letters, I figured out it spelled the words, "DISNEY CRUISE."  I immediately thought, "a Disney Cruise?"  Scott surprised us all with a great Spring Break vacation to Disney World and a Disney cruise!  I think I am still in shock.  He booked this trip last April and was able to keep it a secret all this time!  Hayley and I were screaming and hugging while Ella wasn't sure what it all meant (she's never been to Disney before).  To top it all off, it began snowing Christmas afternoon.  We all got to have our first "White Christmas!"  What a great day for my family.  Thank you God for your blessings and such a wonderful family, and most of all the most precious gift of all, your Son!
