Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas was full of fun and relaxation! We did most of our visiting with family the weekend before Christmas and on Christmas Eve so we could have a quiet, relaxing Christmas Day with the girls. On Christmas Eve, we went to church for a beautiful candlelight Christmas Eve service. The girls though it was a big deal to go to "big church" with Mommy and Daddy instead of their usual children's classes. We spent the rest of the night having a meal and opening gifts with the Glenn's. Then, off to bed in preparation for Santa. The girls are at an especially exciting age for Santa. They were surprised to see all that he brought and it was mostly presents that they specifically wanted. Hayley begged for a pony that interacts with voice, motion, and light, and Ella wanted a "Potty Doll." They were excited to see these items and more. We spent the morning enjoying the gifts and celebrating with more gifts when Mimi and Papa came over to eat breakfast with us. The rest of the day Scott played with the girls while I prepared our Christmas dinner. It was so nice to have a relaxing day at home with our girls as we celebrated Jesus' Birthday.
